A child is a gift from God, and it is important to always guide and protect them. There are so many awful circumstances one can find his or herself in while growing and maturing.

It is our duty to help our child overcome the obstacles the Devil may put in their way. With some help from Crosswalk.com, we present to you seven important blessings to pray over your child as they get older.

“The Lord bless you and keep you, the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you, the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved – you and your household.” Acts 16:31

“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.” Ephesians 4:29

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9

“Only fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. For consider what great things he has done for you.” 1 Sam. 12:24

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22-23
