A vote of Thanks to Vatican security from Pope Francis

The Holy Father on January 18th welcomed an audience of the Vatican security in meeting held at the Clementine Hall. The Holy Father thanked them for their service and their extra efforts “to ensure that the celebrations and events connected with the extraordinary Jubilee take place in a regular and fruitful way.”

By maintaining public order, security officials help to provide for an atmosphere of “serenity and peace” at the Vatican, the Pope said.
