In some Indian regions Christianity is yet not widely accepted. Sometimes ago official bans in such place against certain Christian activities were made. Bans like the banning the sight of Catholic Priests. But in the most recent time the government lifted such bans.
Despite the government’s lift on the ban against the works of the Church, the hatred for Christianity in the midst of the Indian Hindus still protrudes. On November 15, violent Hindu activists entered a Pentecostal church in one village, beat the worshippers, and demanded they reconvert to Hinduism, according to the report.
The Vicar general of the Diocese of Jagdalpur, Father Abraham Kannampala reported that Christians in this region are threatened constantly as they are the minorities of the region
