Papal message to theology conference

In a video message to a theological conference taking place in Argentina, Pope emphasized the importance of bridging the gaps between faith and life and between theology and the Church’s pastoral mission.

The theologian, the Pope said, is “a son of his people,” “a believer,” and “a prophet,” and should avoid the extremes of taking refuge in the past and disavowing the past.
