Pope Francis’s Car sales for £57,000

The small black Flat 500L car that was used to ride Pope Francis around during his last year’s visit to Philadelphia drew more than 19 bidders in just 11 minutes at the Philadelphia Auto Show. The small Black Flat 500L car is one out of the six cars the Pope used during his visit to the United States last year.

The bid winner for the used Papal ride, Michael and Kate Chapman of Chapman Auto Stores in the city, bought the small black Flat 500L for £57,000 (i.e $82,000). A brand new Flat 500L sells for $19,000 in the United States.

The Money realized will be going to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
