Full Question

What are the “capital sins?” Are these the worst sins you can commit?

Answer

The capital sins are pride, avarice, lust, envy, gluttony, anger, and sloth. They’re called capital sins not because they’re necessarily worse than other sins, but because these are the sins which are the bases of other sins. Sometimes these are also known as the seven deadly sins.

    will God forgive us?

  3. JP Reply

the way we go to hell is unrepentant mortal sin. Go to confession regularly and avoid mortal sin. If we commit a mortal sin then we must make the firm amendment to go to confession as soon as possible. there is NO SIN that the Lord cannot forgive. His mercy is ever divine, ever open, like an ocean. Jesus is ALWAYS ready to forgive a penitent heart.

Reference to your answer, could you please throw more light on this: Matt 12:32 31″Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven. 32″Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.
