Alabama Women’s Hall of Fame to Induct Mother Angelica, Joining Helen Keller & Rosa Parks

Praise God! What an amazing honor!

Judson College announced that EWTN foundress Mother Mary Angelica will be inducted into the Alabama Women’s Hall of Fame next month.

She joins more than 90 other women, including Helen Adams Keller, Rosa Parks, and To Kill a Mockingbird author Harper Lee.

Mother Angelica is the second consecrated religious to receive this honor. She follows Sr. Chrysostom Moynahan of the Daughters of Charity.

Established in 1970, the Alabama Women’s Hall of Fame “provides a permanent place of honor for Alabama’s most outstanding women and a place for people to visit and learn about the significant contributions that these women have made to our state and nation.”

Our Lady of the Angels Monastery architect Walter Anderton will induct Mother Angelica into the AWHF on March 5, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Judson College.

Pray for the repose of Mother Angelica’s soul!
