Cardinal John Tong of Hong Kong has issued a pastoral letter on marriage.
Citing Pope Francis’s remarks on integral ecology, the prelate criticized Justice Anthony Kennedy’s US Supreme Court opinion on same-sex marriage and said that “the truth of marriage as a human reality can be defended with natural reasons and as part of a genuine human ecology.”
