"I’m more afraid of the mosquitos" says Pope Francis amidst all security threats

Pope Francis arrived the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi earlier today for his first Papal visit to Africa.
The Holy Father was welcomed by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Nairobi governor Evans Kiderot, the people of Kenya and visitors from all around other countries. The welcome occasion was graced with colorful sing and African cultural dances.
Pope Francis while en route to Kenya was asked if he have any fears in regards to the security threats, and he bantered saying:  “I’m more afraid of the mosquitos.”
The Pope will as well be visiting Uganda and Central Africa Republic later in his visit in Africa. Pope Francis will be the first Pope to visit a war zone.

  1. we in africa are very happy to receive the pope. i however do not like the name calling that we are war torn. this is not true. the last police involvement we had was not even in the last 5 months. how can we be war torn. yet the west is in constant struggles.. we keep prying for world peace but we in Uganda are so blessed by the existing peace
