An Italian news agency (Agi) confirmed that mother Teresa will be canonised on the 5th of September 2016. The 5th of September which will also mark her 19th death anniversary.
Though speaking with the Vice President of the Holy See press office, Fr. Ciro Benedettini, he said no exact dates have been fixed as regards to the canonization so far. He confirmed that the medical experts examining the case of the miracle of Mother Teresa’s cause have come to a conclusion that there are no natural or medical aid nor explanation for the miracle.
Fr. Benedettini said that the only sure fact is that the doctors have cleared the healing of the Brazilian man with brain tumor by saying prayer to Mother Teresa is truly a miracle. So this means that her Cause will now be examined by a panel of theologians before being assessed and voted upon by a panel of cardinals who will pass on their conclusions to the Pope.
