A nightclub in Bucharest, Romania caught fire and killed 27 people leaving about 179 persons injured. The Holy Father have through the office of Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, sent a condolence telegram message to President Klaus Iohannis, the president of Romania.
The holy father in his message expressed his deep sorrows and spiritual closeness to the families of the victims. He also prayed in the message for the mercy of God on the deceased.
