This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another. (Jn 13:35)
Saints Timothy and Titus are figures of apostolic friendship. Close collaborators with Saint Paul, they served Christ by their unified service to the spreading of the Gospel. Unity in love—which does not preclude some differences of opinion or even disagreements needing resolution—is itself a form of ministry.
How good and how pleasant it is,
when brothers live in unity!
It is like precious oil upon the head
running down upon the beard,
