Saint Pio Relay for Pro-Life and Peace

The Saint Pio Foundation will hold a two-day marathon in Italy for Pro-Life Peace and to celebrate the 130th anniversary of the birth of Saint Padre Pio and the 15th anniversary of his canonization. Participants will travel from Saint Pio’s birthplace to the Church Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo.

This inaugural two-day marathon/relay in Italy will start on June 17 from Saint Pio’s birthplace in Pietrelcina and will end on June 18, 2017, at the Church Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo.
This inaugural St. Pio Relay for Pro-Life Peace is part of a four-day pilgrimage hosted by the Saint Pio Foundation in partnership with LIFE Runners.
Wearing the official “REMEMBER The Unborn – Jer 1:5” jersey, each Relay participant will run/walk a 5K leg of the 82-mile course from St. Pio’s birthplace in Pietrelcina to the Church Padre Pio in San Giovanni Rotondo.
This pilgrimage commemorates the 130th anniversary of Saint Pio’s birth and the 15th anniversary of his canonization. A maximum of 30 participants will be accepted.
Fees per person in double occupancy are $1,200 and include land transportation and full meals for the four days.
It does not include round-trip airfare from the United States of America.
