Should there be laws protecting homosexuals from discrimination in the workplace?
Genuine injustice requires correcting. If homosexuals are being unjustly discriminated against in the workplace, then it is just for society to seek to correct that injustice through legislation. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states: “[Homosexuals] must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided” (CCC 2358).
