The Archbishop of Sydney, Most Reverend Anthony Fisher OP, aged 55 who felt ill before Christmas has been reported to be responding miraculously to his treatment. He was diagnosed with a severe condition of the nervous system.
The Guillain-Barré syndrome (a condition in which the body’s immune system attacks the nervous system, usually caused by a viral or bacterial condition) was discovered by doctors in the St Vincent’s Hospital of Sydney city where the Archbishop is admitted.
