This Marian prayer has been written and it will move you to tears

This Marian prayer has been written and it will move you to tears. A book by Father Jose Kentenich in his work, Ninos ante Dios, [Children Before God], contains a new Marian prayer. We wanted to share this prayer with you, so you too can thank Mary for her presence in your life.
Here is the incredible new Marian prayer:
“Dear Mother, I surrender to you all that I am and have. I am called to give you my life. It doesn’t matter that I am broken. It doesn’t matter that I am wounded. My wound becomes a fissure that opens me. I don’t want to close the wound. I don’t want to seal the fissure. Thank you, Mother, for loving me. [T]hank you for being with me. Thank you for walking at my side every step of the way. [T]hank you for being a mother who will never leave me in times of difficulty. [T]hank you for being my Mother.”
Kentenich wrote the prayer as a reminder that he should not worry, “Mother will take care of it.” This is true. Our Mother in heaven takes care of us and she never leaves us. Moreover, She did not leave Christ even when he was being crucified. She will not leave us, no matter what happens in our lives.
Even when we face trouble, we need only to remember that Our Lady is with us. It will help relieve our worries. Let us recite this Marian prayer often. Let us take a moment to thank Our Mother. Amen.

It is a beautiful prayer and yes I believe we need to surrender everything to Mary to intercede for us. But it is to Jesus the prayer should be addressed to and that through Mary she takes our surrenders and desires to Jesus to answer her prayer for us. Am I wrong about this? Mary can not heal us. Only the Trinity can, but Mary as a mother can intercede for us. We do not worship Mary, only God. Mary is the Queen of Heaven and we know that as our queen she had a special place with God. What Son would not answer the requests of his mother.

Hmm thank you , Robert Umera for that explaination. Now I understand it better. I just thought about mother Theresa , it’s been reported that on her death bed her last word was ” I love you , Jesus” . And pope john Paul’s last word ” I’m ready to go home to my Father.” Both of them faithfully say the rosary everyday , and both of them never mention the blessed mother. I now fully understand that her job is to bring her children closer to GOD.

Oh ye feeble children of eve. Slow to belief and put your faith in action. The Holy Trinity is in Her, anytime we direct our prayers to her, we direct it to that which is in Her. Even the Angels bowed down to her, for all the angels put together cannot equal that which she posses. That you are a confirm Catholic does not mean you have Faith. Set your pride away, please not the separated brethren, but always please God. When ever you get angry because we honor this most Holy woman, you rebel against God just like Lucifer did when he was shown the sign of this great Woman in heaven. If you say i worship Mary, i will be most happy for such a comment cos even if i do, it is what she carries that takes the worship at the end of it.

Some people are trying to destroy the Catholic faith, may our Lord Jesus Christ enlighten them. Please dont use the mother of God to confuse the people.

Anthony: Of course God is in Mary. Who is questioning that? Christ’s Spirit is supposed to be in all of us if we have faith in Him, but that doesn’t make us God.
The humanity of Jesus Christ is the only humanity that also has a Divine nature as the Word. He is the God-man. This allows us to treat Him as God. No one else qualifies for this including Mary, even when we have Christ’s Spirit within us. This does not make us God. We can never be God. In Scripture, it is blasphemy to say that you are God.
We are not allowed to worship each other. If we did, it would be idolatry. I have never heard the term “mother flame”. I think that most of us who have benefitted directly from the presence of Jesus Christ within us would find it unthinkable to direct our attention to anyone else.

Peter, if you can’t see the God in Mother Mary then you will never see the God in yourself. If we are all Children of God, I don’t see why you should think that anyone of us is not God or God-becoming.
But one thing I could not go pass on this prayer is this. Throughout the whole Prayers. There is no mention of Mother Mary, it just says Mother. This can just be anybody who holds the Mother Flame ( I hope the Mother Flame is understood) and it’s not Mother Mary alone so it should be specific.
It is not the intention of Mother Mary to be worshipped so avoid doing that. And know Mother Mary, The Archangel, like all the other hierarchies of Heaven and the Saints Ascended are there to help when called.
Don’t be worried about attacks on the Church, that’s not our battle. Ours is to make the call when we need it.

This is one of the reason why the Catholic is attack
Laila: I agree. Catholics say that they are being misunderstood when they are accused of treating Mary as a goddess; but the Church should be more attentive to the content of its approved prayers, even if this one has not been approved. Mary is not allowed to be a recipient of surrender because she is not God. This type of surrender thinking comes from Louis de Montfort. Much of his thinking should be applied directly to Jesus instead.

Very crucial observations. In our love for our mother, we must always be, in the end, be directed to His Son. We must choose our words in prayers that are to be shared to everyone because these may sometimes sound confusing. May the burning love of Jesus for Mary be the same as our love for her mother and, may our closeness and ties to her mother lead us to bind and submit our hearts and lives to the one eternal God as she does. ?
Amen

This type of surrender is reserved only for the Godhead and must not be applied to a creature of God. The Spirit of Christ, which has the fullness of the Godhead, is able to bring us the Father because the Father sent the Spirit of His Son into our hearts. Mary cannot be a substitute for Christ because her spirit has not been sent to abide within us. It would need to be within us in order for her to bring us Christ, and in turn, the Father.
Surrender to Christ is what brings us His Spirit. Surrender to Mary cannot bring us her spirit. Jesus is a unique person because He is the Word incarnate, human and divine; therefore, He is the only one that is suited to be our one mediator to bring us the graces from the Father; and He can only do this because we are allowed to surrender to Him and receive His Spirit within us.
Those of us who carry the Spirit of Christ, are empowered to be the representatives of Christ on earth. Even when Christ was living on earth, His Spirit was not available to anyone at that time. Pentecost needed to happen in order for Christ to bring us the benefits of the Redemption, which includes eternal life.
And yet Jesus yielded to Mary at Cana. She interceded to Jesus and changed the water into wine even though He said it wasn’t His time. Yes we can go to the Mother of Jesus to intercede for us to the One Mediator our Lord Jesus Christ. He listens to her. So, yes, we can ask her and she will speak to her son.

I am a confirmed Catholic. This reads more like a prayer to God or Jesus.
“Dear Mother, I surrender to you all that I am and have.” Are we not taught to surrender our lives to God?
“I am called to give you my life.” Please help me understand. if the author could please write a follow up article. We as Catholics venerate Mary. The words are undoubtedly beautiful, but my God is a jealous God, and those words read like they are His and His alone. If I am blind please help me see.
Takura: Thank you for your observation. You are not blind; but many Catholics are. The Hail Holy Queen and the Memorare are also prayers to Mary asking for her direct help, instead of only her intercession. She is a creature of God, as we all are, and this type of prayer should be directed only to the Godhead.
This type of thing is a dangerous diversion from Jesus Christ because He is the only way to the Father. When we substitute a creature of God, for God, we are removed from the only one who provides eternal life. Many people are toying with their salvation without realizing it.
The Spirit of Christ that we receive is our only access to the Father and His graces because He contains the Spirit of the Father; and we receive Christ’s Spirit only by our surrender or consecration directly to Him. Mary’s spirit is not available to us, as is the Spirit of Christ; therefore, surrender or consecration to Mary cannot bring us the presence of Christ through her in this life. She could never be the mediatrix of all graces, as many Catholics believe; even though it is not official Catholic teaching.
There are beliefs in Catholic culture that are contrary to the Bible, which is supposed to regulate everything in Christianity (Vatican II, Dei Verbum 21).
Mary was created by God and loved by God the Father to carry his precious sonto redeem mankind she is perfection created by the Father and loved dearly by the holy Trinity she sits by her son’s side always in prayer she brings us to her son who has given us her as our mother she will always bring us to Jesus we are saved because of her son Jesus whom she loves and adores we can follow her in her obedience to God we love her not worship her she is a gift to us from god the Father we can never go wrong with Mary .god has given us all we need for salvation and Mary prays we all turn to her son so no one is lost we need her more than ever as a loving mother amen in Jesus name amen
Dear Takura,
I am a confirmed Catholic too. Sometimes I feel the same way as you do but I ask myself this question : have I ever said this or similar things to a human? It’s similar to what many have told their husbands, wives, children, mothers, fathers, siblings (not idolatry in these cases but profession of love). In these cases, this kind of love does not in any way negates or diminish the love we have for God. It the same with this prayer. It’s a profession of love to her whom God has declared blessed and whom all generations are to call blessed. If I can comfortably say such to a mere man how much more a woman who was greatly favored by God to be the Mother of God.
It is the will of the Trinity, due to the honor they give her, that all prayer and graces ascend and descend to each one of us, through the Father, then Son, then Mary. She is mediatrix of all graces, but it doesn’t matter to whom you are speaking or praying to at that time (I speak to all), that is always the order.
Our Lady is the mold that we are to be formed sothat we have a heart as obedient, faithful, humble, charitable, meek and mild as Jesus. We offer ourselves to her so that we may become pleasing to God, the Father who have chosen her to be the Mother of His only Son; God , the Son, who has chosen her to be His own Mother he honored and loved; and God, the Holy Spirit, her Spouse., who seeks most the hearts consecrated to Mary, St. Louis de Montfort said, ” The easiest way to mystism, experience with God, is thru Mary. Ave Maria.
I found that the only way that I experienced the Father was through Jesus. We surrender and consecrate ourselves directly to Him in order to receive His Spirit. We know from Scripture that the Spirit of the Son was sent to us so that we can have the mind of Christ, and also have the Spirit of the Father because Jesus contains the Father. Jesus is the only way to the Father. The mysticism of the Bible brings us inner peace and strength from God, which are fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
