Sometimes kids are the best examples of unconditional love.
Kids are wonderful little people who are born to make connections with others, love unconditionally and innocently warm hearts with something as small as a smile.
As adults, we find it difficult to love one another, particularly when someone wrongs us, but children are far removed from such trivialities.
In fact, children tend to forgive and forget quite easily, making them perfect hosts for the five love languages:
- Quality time
- Receiving gifts
- Acts of service
- Physical touch
- Words of affirmation
Anyone with kids knows how much quality time they want with people, how often they want to touch us, say nice things to us, help out around the house (well, in the beginning they do!), and of course how happy they are to give us gifts.
Here are three short clips of how perfectly children show their love:
This boy who happily helps out
The kid who loves his dog, even though it won’t play fetch
The kid who shows his love in the best way
As each video shows, kids teach us how to love one another, how to love unconditionally and how to be happy for what we have.
The next time you find yourself struggling to love, take a look at these kids and remember their unconditional love.
