Why Do Protestant Groups Recite the Creed?
Full Question
why do protestant groups recite the creed?
Answer
Many non-Catholic faith communities share with us the essentials of the Nicene-Constantinople Creed. They share our beliefs in the Trinity, the Incarnation, the Virgin Birth, the Paschal Mystery, the Final Judgment, the role of the Holy Spirit, and in one baptism. For over a millennium this Creed has been considered the standard of Christian faith and they find nothing in it that is contrary to their beliefs.
